It is our great pleasure to open a call to find the organisers for one of Eduk8's most highly anticipated events of the year: the Eduk8 Starter 2018!
If you are looking for new challenges to refresh the motivation of your local section, this is the right moment!
The following email and attachments provide a lot of detail for potential Organising Committees to be aware of. However, don’t be scared by the length and detail of these documents, we just want you to have all the information and support necessary when preparing your application!
Also, if you would like to know from previous OCs what to expect when organising an Eduk8 event, check out the interview with the OC of Eduk8 Starter Timisoara at the ESN blog!
Important mentioning is that looking at the feedback from the previous events, we decided to introduce some changes for the next Starter. Here is what is new:
- Smaller groups per track, so that there is more chance for participants to share and more individual attention from trainers to the participants.
- More spots for the event. We know that only 8 more spots might not seem like much, but we feel that if the overall number goes above 50 it will be harder to maintain the group cohesion needed for this event. Nonetheless, it's still more people that get the chance to attend.
- More opportunity for Eduk8 Trainers to deliver the Starter: 3 instead of 2!
If you're thinking of applying, here is what you need to know:
